GlassFancy is all about fused glass jewelry.
I work with non-dichroic art glass mostly made by the Bullseye glass company.
You will find a large selection of pendants, some brooches and earrings at my online stores.
I also make fused glass cabinet knobs & pulls. A colorful and up-beat accent for tired furniture!

I try to create crisp edges and clear shapes in many of my pieces by cold working the glass after the fusing process.
Cold working is a time consuming process in which the glass is sanded with consecutively finer and finer grid until it is shaped and the glass is completely smooth.

Many of the pendants, brooches and earrings have 99.9% pure silver inclusions and all of the wire and bails I use are sterling silver.

  1. Kim,
Hi again, was hoping you could give me some quick advice. I was just asked at at my garage sale where I was selling some of my stuff, to create a luggage pull for a double zipper out of glass, my first commission! Anyway, I will either have to sandwich some wire between the layers of glass, or drill thru the glass for attachment of findings for attaching to the zipper. I have used copper wire before, but it came out quite brittle. Any trick or suggestions?

  2. Hi I love your glass! Where do you get your backings? Do you have any other options?

    • Thank you so much, Marti!
Unfortunately, I am not quite sure what you mean by ‘backings’ but generally, I make a lot of the metal parts on my jewelry myself. The bases for the cabinet knobs, I sell in my Etsy store.
I hope that covers what you meant. =)
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment!
