No fused glass to be seen! But plenty of metal clay instead!
It’s a rare occurence for me when I open the kiln and there is something other than pendants in there.
I went all rebel and made a pair of earrings! Yea, you heard right! Earrings!
And we have another first with these earrings. I used Cubic Zirconias and not glass in these. The stones are a rich, warm brown and sparkle a lot more than glass.

I try to create crisp edges and clear shapes in many of my pieces by cold working the glass after the fusing process. Cold working is a time consuming process in which the glass is sanded with consecutively finer and finer grid until it is shaped and the glass is completely smooth.
Many of the pendants, brooches and earrings have 99.9% pure silver inclusions and all of the wire and bails I use are sterling silver.
